I'm Simon Buser, a 17-year-old photographer from Switzerland, currently spending an exchange year in Umeå, Sweden. My passion for photography began at a young age, capturing the beauty of nature and the thrill of adventure with my first camera. Over time, this hobby evolved into a serious pursuit, leading me to co-found KeyVisuals, a production company that has grown from a small group of friends into a professional video production team.

When I'm not in high school or behind the lens, you'll find me in the forests doing orienteering, a sport that fuels my love for the outdoors and sharpens my sense of direction—both in life and in my photography. My experiences, from documenting intense sports moments to capturing serene landscapes, have shaped my perspective as a photographer.

About The Photos

I've always been drawn to nature, embarking on countless adventures since I was a child. My journey into photography began when I got my first phone, and soon after, I bought my first camera.

At the end of 2022, I met Jamie and Jan and soon after we launched KeyVisuals, our production company. What started as a few guys with cameras doing cool projects has since evolved into a professional video production company.

But KeyVisuals isn't the only place I work with my camera. I’ve continued to capture my own adventures, and in early 2024, I began exploring sports photography, driven by my deep connection to sports.

Now, during my exchange in Sweden, I’m focused on sports and adventure photography.

My background in sports, experience with my own company, and youthful perspective allow me to create and capture sports in a fresh, dynamic way.
